01 1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to www.dovu.ai ("DOVU", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website and services, including Flow and any other products we offer (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use our Services.
02 2. About Our Services
DOVU provides various solutions and products.
Flow is our workflow documentation and audit system that captures execution as evidence, including intent, actions, sign-offs, and tamper-evident history across your business processes. In addition to Flow, we offer other AI-powered tools, sustainability solutions covering areas like soil carbon and biodiversity tracking, supply chain solutions, AI agents and developer tools, and other products featured on our website.
Some products may be open source while others are proprietary, and we'll indicate which is which. Different licensing terms may apply to open source components.
Many of our Services are experimental, in development, or beta versions. They may not work perfectly and may change significantly. You acknowledge and accept this experimental nature when using our Services.
03 3. Changes to Services and Pricing
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time without notice. We can change from free to paid models or vice versa, adjust pricing for any Service, add or remove features, and change how Services work. By continuing to use our Services after any changes, you accept those changes. If you don't like the changes, simply stop using the Services. Payments are generally non-refundable. If a Service becomes paid and you don't want to pay, you can stop using it.
04 4. User Accounts and Access
Some Services may require registration. When you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use our Services. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You agree not to violate any laws or regulations, infringe on intellectual property rights, transmit malware or harmful code, attempt to hack or compromise our systems, use our Services to harm others, scrape or data mine without permission, impersonate others or provide false information, interfere with other users' access, or use Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose. If you violate these Terms, we can suspend or terminate your access immediately without notice.
06 6. Intellectual Property
All content, code, designs, logos, and materials on www.dovu.ai (except open source components and user content) are owned by DOVU or our licensors. You don't get any ownership rights by using our Services. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our Services for their intended purpose. This license ends when your use ends.
If you submit, upload, or create content using our Services, you retain ownership of your content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content to provide the Services. You represent that you have the rights to grant this license and you're responsible for your content. If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about our Services, we can use them freely without any obligation to you.
07 7. Privacy and Data
Your use of our Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, secure data storage, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in compliance with applicable data protection laws including, but not limited to the UK GDPR, EU GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We will process your personal data only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
08 8. AI and Machine Learning
(applicable to some, not all Services)
Some of our Services utilise artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to provide functionality including workflow automation, process optimization, data analysis, and other AI-powered features. When you use our Services, AI systems may process your inputs and data to generate outputs, recommendations, or automated actions.
We do not use your personal data to train our AI models or any third-party AI models. Your personal information remains yours and will not be incorporated into our machine learning systems or shared with AI model providers for training purposes. We may use aggregated, anonymised, and de-identified data that cannot be linked back to you for improving our Services and AI capabilities.
You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected results. You're responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content or recommendations before relying on them for business decisions or other purposes. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.
09 9. Disclaimers
Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We don't guarantee that our Services will meet your requirements, be available at all times, produce accurate results, have all errors corrected, or be suitable for your specific use case. You use our Services at your own risk and are solely responsible for any damage to your systems or loss of data.
10 10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed £100 (one hundred pounds sterling) or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is less.
We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, business interruption, loss of goodwill or reputation, or any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Services, or damages caused by errors, omissions, interruptions, defects, or delays. These limitations apply even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages and are fundamental elements of the agreement between you and DOVU.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11 11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DOVU, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of another party, or your content.
12 12. Third-Party Services
Our Services may integrate with or link to third-party services, websites, or content. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
13 13. Termination
You can stop using our Services at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent or illegal activity, extended periods of inactivity, or business or legal reasons.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. We may delete your account and content, though provisions that should survive termination (including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnification, and dispute resolution) continue to apply.
14 14. General Provisions
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DOVU regarding the Services. We may update these Terms at any time by posting the updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision doesn't constitute a waiver of that right or provision. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms, but you may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
These Terms don't create any third-party beneficiary rights, and the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and DOVU.
We're not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labour disputes, internet failures, or government actions. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply after these Terms end.
15 15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services. Before filing any formal claim, please contact us to attempt informal resolution.
